Control of vehicles and pedestrians in and out of secure areas can achieved by the use of automated devices such as motorised gates, barriers, doors and turnstiles.  There are various options available to control and operate the automated devices including ANPR CCTV, access control or combined audio/video communications between the automated device and a central control room.  In each case safety is paramount and all necessary safety devices must be installed such as ground loops, photocells and pressure devices to suit the application.
