Giving Something Back…

At Scotshield Fire & Security, we are fully committed to participating in social inclusion initiatives and we wholeheartedly embrace our responsibilities in this regard.  This extends to the recruitment of local young people direct from school and also via government initiatives to complete modern apprenticeships. Over the years, we have provided employment and training for over 70 apprentices and we aim to recruit at least 8 new apprentices each year with vacancies being offered from our regional offices throughout the UK.

We participate extensively in various work experience programmes for local school children by way of offering weekly placements in various areas of the business which has seen in excess of 500 placement days being offered to school children in recent years.  Scotshield Fire & Security has also recruited local people under various local government schemes including back to work initiatives leading to full-time employment within our company.

We work closely with our customers in helping them fulfil their obligations and corporate social responsibilities and this has been proven on many new-build projects by working in partnership with major construction companies.

Some of our other commitments include sponsorship of various voluntary organisations such as hospices, schools, and local community events.
