As a responsible organisation, Scotshield Fire & Security recognises that protecting the environment is not only a moral obligation; it is an integral part of business today.  We are actively looking at ways to contribute ever more effectively in reducing our carbon footprint and we are currently working towards securing formal accreditation to ISO14001.

The effect on the environment both during and after completion of works is considered when planning a project or a service contract. Should concerns arise over proposed activities or materials used these will be discussed with the appropriate department of the Environmental Agency.  Scotshield Fire & Security is registered under the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989 via the regulation authorities SEPA and NIEA.

We are a registered carrier of controlled waste and we actively follow our Duty of Care in the practice of re-use and recycle of materials where possible.
