Scotshield Fire & Security recognises the importance of health, safety and welfare in the successful operation of its activities and believes in the participation of every member of the company in health and safety matters in order to achieve and maintain the highest practicable standard of accident prevention.  To this end, the company operates a Health, Safety and Environmental Policy which is continually reviewed to ensure that where the business changes in size or nature, or changes in legislation are introduced, it is updated as appropriate.

We monitor our performance in health and safety matters through planned and unplanned inspections of the workplace and a record of all inspections are maintained.  We continuously review our obligations to safety through the Directors, Managers and Supervisors for whom safety is a vital part of their responsibilities.  Health and safety training and refresher courses are carried out on an ongoing basis and we constantly strive to improve all aspects of health and safety through regular committee meetings involving staff at every level.
